Here's the thing. When it comes to Christmas, I usually remember about sending cards when it's far too late. Then I have to dream up a feeble excuse (such as my elephant needed to go to the vet and I didn't have time - that sort of thing) so the card either never gets sent or arrives in time for Easter.
